A portable meter that detects the presence of combustible gases using a catalytic sensor or CO₂ using an infrared sensor, ensuring its accuracy and linearity across the entire measurement range, regardless of the temperature and humidity conditions under which the measurements are taken. These characteristics are important for the reliability of the measurement.
